Teen Gothic

Mine is World Around by Red Lorry Yellow Lorry.

I really love songs with an organ in them and obviously since it’s kind of considered a gothic instrument I was wondering what goth songs have organs in them?

Bauhaus – god in an alcove

I mean it. I want to cry my eyes out. I’m looking for something more gloomy sounding but anything works.

Too many people refuse The Cure being goth, just because they only hear their pop songs like Why Can't I be You? or Lovesong. What are some of their most goth songs? Currently I have:

Lullaby

A Forest

The Blood

Seventeen Seconds

So, I recently was accepted as a DJ at my colleges radio station and want to play a lot of goth and goth-adjacent (bands loved by many goths but not actually goth) music during my hour on air. I already have some artists I enjoy and plan on playing like bauhaus, christian death, siouxsie and the banshees, scary bitches, etc, but I'd really appreciate some more goth and goth-adjacent music recommendations.

I'd also appreciate "clean" (no curse words or in a non-english language) song recs if I get stuck with a slot during the day time.

About love, sex, obsession, etc.

I'm looking for the saddest, most gut wrenching, melancholic, painful goth songs that just make you want to die. Please give me some suggestions!

Here are some references 🙂 Looking for something like that

Nick Cave & Bad seeds- The Carny

Bojler – Uspavanka

Christian Death – Lament

Neither/Neither World – Dancing in my Garden

Rozz Williams & Gitane Demone – World Apart
